A Few Words About The Jeffery Brothers

The Jeffery Brothers came together in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the year 2003. Founding members and twin brothers Josh (Guitar) and Nick Jeffery (Drums), have played together since they were 15 years old. Growing up in a small town in Ontario Canada, they played anywhere and everywhere in Ontario. Raised on the music of The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Van Halen, Cheap Trick, KISS and Tom Petty, they want to make Rock N Roll Music LOUD and something you would remember when at the gig or when you have their album on. Their first big break came in 2004 when they put together an EP entitled “Splitting Headache” which was released independently under the Brothers record label KikDown Records, which also was picked up and licensed to Undertow-Recording. They started out in their parents van in support of this new EP touring with such acts as Quite Riot, Great White, Helix, MudMen and Staggered Crossing. During this time they secured the theme song to a hit TV show called Scooter Girls which aired on CTV/TSN Network with over 500,000 viewers and getting sponsorships with Cheata Energy Drink, Sundog Glass Wear and PF Flyers Shoes. Within three year the band debut EP sold over 6000 copies and the brothers kept touring Canada and supporting other Artist such as Bernard Fowler of (The Rolling Stones) along with his all star band, Stevie Salas (Rod Stewart), Ron Blair (Tom Petty) and Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty), Molly Hatchet as well as many indie performances along the way. As 2007 came to a close the band sat down to plan for the next album. In early 2008 the idea was to find and hire a new producer. After a long and hard thought process the boys decided on Glen Robinson which was based in New York City but a fellow Canadian from Montreal. Glen’s production work includes Voivod, Dave Grohl's project Probot, The Ramones, Keith Richards and many others.  “Cuttin Loose” would be the title track and the name of this new album which was produced also engineered in Montreal and New York City and would take two years to complete. In that time frame the Brothers secured a publishing deal with Bok Music out of California and still continued to perform in Canada. The band received a break to tour England. While in England the band took on a licensing deal with indie label Stable Records which allowed the band to release “Splitting Headache” following up with two tours in 2008 and 2009. 2010 is off to a great start with “Cuttin Loose” finished and ready for release in April. This album is everything we want in a record; big guitars, thunder like drums, LOUD and something that you will remember.  The band will follow up with tours in Canada, U.K, Sweden, and Australia.
